Welcome to my digital corner of the web. I’m David, and I’ve been navigating the ever-shifting tides of SEO since 1998. Back when Google was just a twinkle in Larry and Sergey’s eyes, I was already hooked, and I’ve been a devoted fan ever since.
My journey has been a bit of a whirlwind:
- From the West Coast to the South West: I spent 10 wonderful years living in downtown San Francisco and beautiful Walnut Creek, California, followed by 5 years in Huntersville, a town just outside Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The Global DJ Circuit: Before the digital world fully claimed me, I spent nearly three years touring Norway as an agency DJ, following residencies at top-ranked clubs across England, Cardiff, and the legendary Fiesta Suite here in my home city of Plymouth.
- Home Sweet Home: Today, I’m happily back in Plymouth, living near my native Holbeton in the beautiful South Hams, Devon.

The “Why” Behind the Work
I am retired now, and all of this has become a non-paid hobby. I find that everything I know and learn has made me unable to enjoy the hundreds of books I have read, and the many I have yet to read—we’ll see! Regardless, I still donate 100% of any professional proceeds to local charities, specifically St Luke’s Hospice and the Primrose Foundation at Derriford Hospital.
