Microsoft Copilot AI: Another Useful Tool in the AI Toolbox
By David Saunders
Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft’s answer to the rapidly growing world of artificial intelligence, and it is becoming increasingly built into the software millions of people already use.
At its simplest, Copilot is an AI assistant. You can ask it questions, get help writing or rewriting content, summarise information, generate ideas and assist with everyday tasks.
For businesses, this could be particularly useful. Instead of spending ages on repetitive jobs, Copilot can help with things such as emails, documents, presentations, research and spreadsheets.
But there is one important rule with AI: don’t blindly trust it.
AI can get things wrong. Always check important information before publishing it or making business decisions based on it.
For small businesses and individuals, Copilot is simply another useful tool to have alongside services such as Google and ChatGPT.
I’ve been involved with the internet and SEO since 1998, and one thing I’ve learned is that technology keeps changing. The important thing is not to chase every shiny new gadget, but to understand what is actually useful.
